It was while taking classes towards a degree in graphic design when Matt McCarthy found his passion for photography; which eventually became a significant part of his life. Matt has always loved motorized vehicles, whether it is cars, aircraft, and motorcycles - even fictional spacecraft from science fiction films and TV programs. But what he truly loves about them is their design language, for example, the way that tailfins of 50's-era cars express the exuberance of that time.
"There is way too much monotony in design language today - especially with automotive design. I hope that, with my work, I can reacquaint people with the dialects of that language, now seemingly forgotten."
