Born in a small remote town in Northern British Columbia Canada, Vanya is greatly influenced by the nature and outdoor life that surrounds her.
The remote location of Vanya’s home has led her to be experimental with the tools of her trade. Often mixing her own paints from natural pigments and using tree barks and wood as canvas, Vany’s art takes on an earthy, textural quality.
Vanya resides with her husband, four children and 2 Labrador Retrievers, Jasper & Yukon.
